Synopsis:

In a series of misfortune and fortune, Tian Long found the Death Book while he led his life in captivity and misery.

Using the Death Book, he not only managed to free himself but also found a ticket to the cultivation world he first thought to be nothing but a fantasy.

Having no more attachments towards Earth, he decides to live to the best of his life in the new cultivation world, becoming strong while following his heart, exerting effort on whatever he thinks is right!

First Step:  Three systems of cultivation

Body Tempering Cultivation

: (Low-Mid-High-Peak)

A Cultivation System unique to the Humans.

This Cultivation System increases physical fitness and lifespan tremendously compared to the other Cultivation Systems of the Humans.

The aura seeping from the body is nothing but a display of using the Body Tempering Cultivation.

First Stage: Copper Stage

(Life-span: ~150)

When one enters this stage, their flesh gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increases the physical strength to varying degrees.

Aura: Reddish-brown

Second Stage: Bronze Stage

(Life-span: ~300)

When one enters this stage, their flesh, meridians get tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increases the physical strength to varying degrees.

The meridians not only strengthens but is also capable of storing more energy and inducing enhanced circulation of energy.

Aura: Brown

Third Stage: Iron Stage

(Life-span: ~500)

When one enters this stage, their flesh, meridians, bones get tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increases the physical strength to varying degrees.

The bones are fleshed out and strengthened, causing their density to harden to varying degrees.

Aura: Grey

Fourth Stage: Silver Stage

(Life-span: ~750)

When one enters this stage, their flesh, meridians, bones, organs get tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increases the physical strength to varying degrees.

The tempered organs have their functions increased to a positive degree enormously.

Aura: Silver

Fifth Stage: Gold Stage

(Life-span: ~1,000)

When one enters this stage, their flesh, meridians, bones, organs, bone marrow gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increases the physical strength to varying degrees.

The bone marrow is flushed out, cleared and tempered, causing all the impurities in the body to be removed to the point of nil, almost.

Aura: Gold

Sixth Stage : Martial Ascendance

(Life-span: ~5,000)

When one enters this stage, their flesh, meridians, bones, organs, bone marrow gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increasing the physical strength to varying degrees.

The aura produced solidifies into martial energy. The solidifies aura becomes transparent and gives off a colour depending upon one's comprehension of the laws.

This process is further intensified by absorbing laws into the body.

Seventh Stage : Martial Master

(Life-span: ~10,000)

When one enters this stage, their entire body gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increasing the physical strength to varying degrees.

The absorbed laws begin to condense in the body.

Eighth Stage : Martial Sage

(Life-span: ~20,000)

When one enters this stage, their entire body gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increasing the physical strength to varying degrees.

The absorbed laws are condensed in the body, taking shape into etched runes.

Ninth Stage : Martial Overlord

(Life-span: ~50,000)

When one enters this stage, their entire gets tempered and strengthens to the next level greatly increasing the physical strength to varying degrees.

Essence Gathering Cultivation

: (Low-Mid-High-Peak)

A Cultivation System unique to the Humans.

This Cultivation System basically enables humans to cultivate heaven and earth energy.

First Stage: Meridian Refinement Stage

(Life-span: ~100)

Cultivating the heaven and earth energy starts at this stage.

The cultivator takes in very small amounts of energy available in the atmosphere to temper the meridians, making it capable of storing energy.

Second Stage: Energy Condensation Stage

(Life-span: ~150 )

After the meridians are refined, it becomes capable of absorbing and storing heaven and earth energy.

Third Stage: Revolving Core Stage

(Life-span: ~300)

After storing enough energy in the meridians, the cultivator forms the revolving core by gathering all the energy stored into the dantian.

Fourth Stage: Body Transformation Stage

(Life-span: ~500)

After the core has reached its peak capacity, the cultivator reconstructs the body with the heaven and energy, while also adapting it to the laws that one has trained in.

This is also the first stage which helps the cultivator to regrow the severed parts of their body because each of the cells in the body is imbued with heaven and earth energy.

Fifth Stage: Law Seed Stage

(Life-span: ~800 )

Condensing one's comprehension of a law into a seed, and planting it in the revolving core.

Sixth Stage: Law Manifestation Stage

(Life-span: ~3,000 )

The seed sprouts after absorbing the revolving core and manifests into a shape that denotes, or signifies growth of the laws which one trains in.

Seventh Stage: Law Dominion Stage

(Life-span: ~6,000 )

Formation of Domain.

The manifestation previously is now capable of producing a domain that emanates various effects depending upon the laws which one trains within a range of the domain.

Eighth Stage: Law Sea Stage

(Life-span: ~12,000)

Once the domain is at its necessary peak, the manifestation compresses and evolves the dantian into capable of holding an inner world.

An inner world is a sea of laws, birthed by the cultivator

Once the domain is at its necessary peak, the domain compresses and evolves the dantian into capable of holding an inner world.

An inner world is a sea of laws, birthed by the cultivator

Ninth Stage: Law Rune Stage

(Life-span: ~30,000)

The sea of laws in the inner world compresses and gives birth to a rune, which is capable of suppressing the inferior laws of its kind once the rune is conjured out.

Soul Forging Cultivation  :

(Low-Mid-High-Peak)

A cultivation system that is capable of increasing the soul force and essence of humans.

Humans will only be able to cultivate their souls when they reach strong enough to sense their souls.

First Stage: Nascent Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: same as current lifespan provided by the other two cultivation systems)

The requirements are either Revolving Core Stage or Gold Stage. One is able to sense their Soul Sea when they reach the requirements.

The mysterious soul takes a nascent-like form, which gives the ability to use Soul Sense.

Second Stage: Infant Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: same as current lifespan provided by the other two cultivation systems)

The soul undergoes a change and grows into an infant form, giving birth to soul force.

Third Stage: Young Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: same as current lifespan provided by the other two cultivation systems)

The soul takes the shape of the cultivator.

The cultivator is able to summon their soul body out of the soul sea but lose control over their fleshy body.

When the soul body is summoned out, the cultivator is only able to control it because the soul essence enters the soul body from the soul sea.

Fourth Stage: Adult Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: same as current lifespan provided by the other two cultivation systems)

The cultivator becomes capable of controlling their fleshy body while still having their soul body outside, meaning that the soul essence increases to a quality that enhances the cultivator's control to manipulate both the soul body and fleshy body.

Fifth Stage: Elder Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: same as current lifespan provided by the other two cultivation systems)

The cultivator no longer needs to place the soul essence into the soul body to control it, so the cultivator no longer needs to worry about dying in case if the soul body dies while being outside.

In conclusion, one is able to have their soul body get destroyed without having to worry about dying in the process because their soul essence stays in the Soul Sea.

Sixth Stage : Mature Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: Adds ~500 years to the soul)

Where the soul body is able to independently exist without the help of the body, because it is able to host the Soul Sea and Soul Essence.

The soul sea is no longer bound to the body, so after the natural or artificial death of the fleshy body, the soul sea enters the soul body and with that, the cultivator is able to live temporarily in soul form even after natural death.

(A state of death but not since the soul is still alive. It is a case of 'The body had given out but the soul is still kicking alive')

Before this stage, if the fleshy body dies, the cultivator is still able to escape with the soul body but since there is no soul sea to host the soul body, the soul body experiences deterioration and eventually dies out within the cultivator's remaining life-span.

But in this stage, since the soul sea is safe with the soul body, the cultivator can reform a new fleshy body to host the soul body, until the soul of the cultivator dies out.

In the case of artificial death, the remaining life-span is added to the fleshy body.

In the case of natural death, if the cultivator is able to breakthrough the next stage in one of the three cultivation systems before the soul lifespan runs out, the cultivator gains additional life-span depending on the cultivation system the cultivator broke through.

Seventh Stage : Supreme Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: Adds 2000 years to soul)

The soul body materializes, not at all appearing transparent any more.

The soul sea expands which makes the cultivator to store more Soul Force that is equal to the storage capacity of Seventh Stage Essence Gathering Cultivators.

Eighth Stage : King Soul Stage

(Soul Life-span: Adds 8,000 years to soul)

Etching the laws in one's soul sea causes one's soul force to experience a qualitative morph. The soul becomes capable of suppressing people with its higher quality or also said as a regal/kingly aura.

Becomes able to use Soul Domain.

Magical Beasts Cultivation

(Low-Mid-High-Peak)

Magical Beasts can't cultivate but can grow with time to their limits. They only have a single breakthrough in cultivation system that improves both their body and soul in the Mortal Realm. They can innately link with heaven and earth energy with their bloodline, and that helps them learn laws from their bloodline.

Magical Beasts are innately stronger than humans but they also have their specialty or uniqueness in the type they excel.

For example, some may specialize solely in offense and forgo their defense, vice-versa.

First Step: Mortal Realm

First Stage: Mortal Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~500)

Mortal Beast Stage Magical Beasts don't have sentience, and while they do have fixed yet vague thought process for certain matters like eating and mating, they mostly tend to act on their instincts.

Second Stage: Earth Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~1,000)

Earth Beast Stage Magical Beasts are beasts that have transcended mindlessness and possess the mind to act on their own.

Third Stage: Sky Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~2,000)

Magical Beasts become able to fly using their magical beast/heaven and earth energy. In this stage, they also gain sentience depending on the Species Rank.

Fourth Stage: Spirit Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~5,000)

Magical Beasts gain sentience (Mortal Rank)

Able to assume human/humanoid form (Does not apply to Mortal Rank Species)

Fifth Stage: Grand Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~10,000)

Sixth Stage : Saint Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~25,000)

Able to use unique species ability

Seventh Stage : Lord Beast Stage

(Lifespan: ~50,000)

Able to use their bodily aura/not exactly domain to suppress against lesser species and lesser kin. Can intimidate humans with their aura as well.

Eighth Stage : King Beast Stage

(Lifespan: 100,000)

Ninth Stage : Emperor Beast Stage

(Lifespan: 200,000)

Magical Beasts Species Rank

(Determines growth)

Can consume heavenly treasures like spirit stones, other heavenly treasures or pills to increase species rank.

Mortal Rank

(Anywhere between 1st to 5th Stage when a Magical Beast of this grade grows up to adult form.)

Earth Rank

(2nd to 6th Stage)

Capable of assuming human form from the fourth stage

Sky Rank

(3rd to 7th Stage)

Capable of assuming human form from the fourth stage

King Rank

(4th to 8th Stage)

Capable of assuming human form from a few days after one is born.

(Spoiler: It's like a parlor trick which Magical Beasts came to know after a certain event long ago in cultivation world)

Emperor Rank

(5th to 9th Stage)

Capable of assuming human form from starting stage.

Magical Beast Bloodline Tier

(Determines Battle Prowess)

Normal Tier:

Normal Magical Beasts of its species.

At least able to battle against same level opponents.

King-Tier:

Born King/Queen depending on the gender.

Have control over normal Magical Beasts of the same species, however, it is not absolute.

At least able to battle opponents of two levels higher in the same stage. If the stage varies, then it depends.

Emperor-Tier:

Born Emperor/Empress depending on the gender.

Has control over normal Magical Beasts of the same species, and it is absolute.

Also has control over King-Tier Magical Beasts of the same species, however, it is not absolute.

At least able to battle opponents of one stage higher regardless of the stage in the First Step.

Grades

:  Grade measures the quality of the said object/living thing.

For example, a battle technique which is graded Low-Level Mortal Grade will be comparable to the power of Low-Level and Mid-Level First Stage Cultivators depending on the circumstances.

Mortal Grade :

Low: Low-Level and Mid-Level of the First Stage

Mid: High-Level and Peak-Level of the First Stage

High: Low-Level and Mid-Level of the Second Stage

Peak : High-Level and Peak-Level of the Second Stage

Earth Grade :

Low: Low-Level and Mid-Level of the Third Stage

Mid: High-Level and Peak-Level of the Third Stage

High: Low-Level and Mid-Level of the Fourth Stage

Peak: High-Level and Peak-Level of the Fourth Stage

Sky Grade :

Low: Low-Level and Mid-Level of the Fifth Stage

Mid: High-Level and Peak-Level of the Fifth Stage
